16 Columbia County-inspired flavors, one winner
Vote in a bracket-style ice cream showdown to determine the official CLC anniversary flavor.
To celebrate 40 years of caring for the land together, CLC is partnering with Samascott’s Garden Market to create a special, limited-edition ice cream inspired by Columbia County. Help select the flavor for the feature!
CLC staff have dreamed up 16 original flavors inspired by the breathtaking views, rich history, and one-of-a-kind community found here in Columbia County. There are potential flavors for birders, farmers, hikers, historians, those who love ice cream for breakfast, and many more!
“We all know Columbia County is a sweet place to be,” says Rebecca Walker, Director of Marketing & Communications. “I’m so excited to see which flavor comes out on top!”
For the next two months, tune into CLC’s Instagram every Friday to vote in the ‘Cone-servation’ Competition. Delicious descriptions of the matchups will precede each vote. Winning selections will advance through the rounds until one final champion remains.
The victorious flavor will be featured at Samascott’s Garden Market for the month of August. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the winning flavor is being generously donated to CLC.
