Join the Columbia Land Conservancy and the Philmont Public Library to fish, float, and explore streams
Splish, splash – it’s summertime! The Columbia Land Conservancy and the Philmont Public Library are excited to announce two shared programs – a Fish and Float event at Summit Lake June 29, and a Stream Explorers Program at High Falls July 3.

No prior fishing experience is required! Kayaks, fishing poles, and gear will be available to borrow for the afternoon. Please bring a water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear, and sunscreen.
Stream Explorers
July 3
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
High Falls

Hudson, NY
During this guided program, nature enthusiasts of all ages will investigate what is living in the stream. Nets, magnifying glasses, field guides, and other tools will be available to use. Please bring a water bottle and wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. Shoes and clothing that can get wet are recommended for this program!
