“This event is such a great way to get an introduction to fishing!” says Jenifer Rosete, Conservation Education Coordinator, “We’ve got everything you need to go fishing, and plenty of volunteers on hand to share their knowledge.”

This event will include a .1 mile walk from the parking lot down to Sutherland Pond. The terrain will include walking over grass and boardwalk. Please note that sections of the boardwalk may still be closed due to construction. Participants should bring a water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear, and sunscreen. Social, leashed dogs are welcome, but please bring bags for waste. Because this is a fishing clinic, fishing licenses are not needed.

Participation is by suggested donation, and all are welcome to attend. Please visit ColumbiaLand.org/Events to register.
