Working Wednesday

Let’s come together and care for the land! This Working Wednesday will take place at Greenport.

July is the perfect time to see many native species bloom in the Pollinator Patch, while also learning to ID some of the invasive species we will be removing. The work party may move further onto the trails of Greenport to tackle some invasive species along the path.

All are welcome to lend a hand at this fun, friendly volunteer event.

What’s involved: We will walk 0.2 miles on the Access For All Trail to the Pollinator Patch. Those removing invasives along the trail may continue on the Access for All Trail up to 1 mile.

What to bring: Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray, and wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. Tools and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!

What not to bring: Please, no dogs.
