Canceled: Volunteer work party!

Let’s come together and care for the land! This month’s volunteer work party will take place at Greenport.

In the coming weeks, Greenport will host the final Let’s Get Out Together summer celebration on August 24, and CLC needs help getting the site ready for this exciting event!

All are welcome to lend a hand at this fun, friendly volunteer event.

What’s involved: This volunteer event will include trail clean-up and removal of invasive species, including weed wacking and trail pruning along the site’s most visited trails. The work party will include traveling over sections of the Access for All trail, which features open, gravel terrain. Each participant will be matched with work that matches their ability and comfort level.

What to bring: Please bring a water bottle, work gloves, and sunscreen, and wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear.
