Timberdoodle trek – event postponed

April 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

This event has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 10 from 7:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m. due to inclement weather.

Ready to do the timberdoodle trek and waddle the way of the woodcock?

Timberdoodle is a common nickname for local bird species, the American Woodcock! During this guided birding walk, we will enjoy the sunset and trek in the hopes of seeing the Timberdoodle’s unique mating ritual and its distinct sky dance.

What’s involved: This event will include walking a mile on the meadow loop trail, which is mostly flat and includes mowed grassy paths that may be muddy.

What to bring: Please bring a water bottle, binoculars or camera, and weather appropriate clothing and footwear.

What not to bring: Please, no dogs.

We are proud to offer this program for free to the public with a suggested five-dollar donation. This gift will allow CLC to continue offering programs like these at no cost and support land conservation work.
