Spring migration bird walk

Join CLC for a guided birding walk at Drowned Lands during peak migration season! Led by experienced birder Spencer Crawford, participants will learn about the migratory birds moving into and through the region.

What’s involved: This event involved walking about one mile on narrow packed earth trail over the Wetlands trail and over a portion of gravel road. There will be frequent stops to identify birds.

What to bring: Please bring a water bottle and wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Bringing a camera and/or binoculars is recommended for this program! CLC will have binoculars available to borrow.

What not to bring: Please, no dogs.

This program is weather-dependent! In the event that the weather on May 16 does not cooperate, it will be re-scheduled for May 23. Please be sure to check your email the day of the event.
