Nature Quest Hike

Join CLC and the Roe Jan Library to enjoy the sights and sounds of Overmountain!

At this family-friendly hike, we’ll scour the Nature Quest trail in search of 6 animal stamps to collect along the way. We’ll also be on the lookout for other critters that call Overmountain home! This program is great for families and kids of all ages.

What’s involved: We will walk up to 1.2 miles along the Kestrel Trail. This trail is an open, old road to the gazebo, with some forested packed earth sections. Seating is available at the gazebo. Click here to learn more about Overmountain.

What to bring: Water and bug spray, and wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. Nature Quest booklets and necessary materials will be provided.

What not to bring: Please, no dogs.
