Forest bathing walk

March 9 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

Snow covered field with trees in the background - the sky is grey and clouds are not visible. Used for promotion of the forest bathing walk at Siegel-Kline Kill.

Slow down, tune in, and soak your senses in the atmosphere of the fields and forests.

Join CLC for a special forest bathing walk at Siegel-Kline Kill with Jill Jakimetz. Throughout the walk, Jill will prompt participants to tune their senses, encouraging connection and self-discovery. Close to the end of the program, participants will enjoy foraged tea and snacks and have an opportunity to share about their experience in nature.

Jill Jakimetz was trained and certified as a Forest Therapy Guide by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs.

What’s involved: We will be walking for less than a mile over uneven terrain, stopping often to notice and connect with the natural world around us.

What to bring: Water, weather-appropriate clothing, additional layers, and footwear.

What not to bring: Please, no dogs.

Please choose the sliding scale registration option that works best for you! If the registration rates pose a barrier to your participation, please contact [email protected] for information about a no-cost option.
