Fall Migration Bird Walk

Join CLC, Alan Devoe Bird Club, and Hudson Mohawk Bird Club for a guided birding walk at Hand Hollow. The group will look for migrant songbirds and lingering residents during peak migration season. This walk will be led by experienced birder Joanie Scheu.

This event is great for all birders, experts and newbies alike!

What’s involved: This event involves walking up to two miles along the Beaver Byway, which features packed earth terrain through meadows and forests. There is occasional seating along the trail. The group will stop often to identify birds!

What to bring: Please bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen, and wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Bringing a camera and/or binoculars is recommended for this program! CLC will have binoculars available to borrow.

What not to bring: Please, no dogs.
