Fall Bird Walk

Join CLC and Alan Devoe Bird Club for a guided birding walk at the newly opened Taghkanic Community Forest. We will be led by Will Yandik, CLC board member, farmer, & ornithologist. Binoculars will be available to borrow.

This event is great for all birders, experts and newbies alike!

What’s involved: We will walk up to 2 miles along Bluestem Way, Barred Owl Trail, Community Forest Road, and Coyote Alley. Trails are shaded, firm, packed earth with a few hills. The group will stop often to identify birds!

What to bring: Please bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen, and wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Bringing a camera and/or binoculars is recommended for this program! CLC will have binoculars available to borrow.

What not to bring: Please, no dogs.
