Bridging the Gap: Land access education series, part two
Join CLC, the Dutchess Land Conservancy, and Rock Steady Farm for an event series focused on agricultural land access for historically marginalized communities.
Throughout the three-part series, participants will learn about the land access needs of beginning QTPOC (Queer, Trans, People of Color) land stewards and the importance of providing farmland to historically marginalized and underfunded communities within the agricultural system. Individuals are invited to attend all or one of the events in the series!
This in-person event will feature a panel discussion and Q&A moderated by Maggie Cheney and Ainhoa Woodley of Rock Steady Farm at The Moviehouse in Millerton. Panelists will include QTPOC land stewards and landowners who have decided to give land or create alternative leases. Following the discussion, participants will be invited to network with technical service providers during a tabling session.
